Makers — Overview

Purpose

This document provides an overview of how Makers (journalists, influencers, and content creators) participate in the Motika.IO ecosystem and earn from audience attention.

Definitions

• Maker: Any creator who publishes content within Motika.IO or connected properties.
• Content Item: A discrete published unit such as an article, video, or image.
• Engagement: Measurable user interaction with a Content Item (time, views, completion).

System Overview

Makers publish Content Items. User activity on these items generates Reward Units associated with the Maker. Reward Units are periodically aggregated and may be converted into MPOW tokens via Maker withdrawals.

Maker rewards are based on measurable attention rather than fixed contracts or opaque algorithms.
